SunPower SPR-225 Solar Modules Comprise Bypass Diodes

Provision Technologies supplies photovoltaic modules and systems for residential and commercial applications. It offers two models of photovoltaic modules, namely, SunPower SPR-225 and BP Solar SX 170. The SunPower SPR-225 solar module uses an all-black backsheet and 72 SunPower all-back contact monocrystalline solar cells. The conversion efficiency of the total panel is 18.1%, which is the highest efficiency available for residential applications.

The SunPower SPR-225 solar module is designed to provide up to 50% more power than conventional solar panels. It is placed on a sturdy anodized frame and covered with a tempered front glass, which has a dimension of 3.2mm. This photovoltaic module is a 225W module having 4.5kW power capacity. It can operate in different temperatures ranging from -40 to +90 degrees Celsius. There is an IP-65 rated junction box with three bypass diodes. This SPR-225 module has a length of 900mm cable or MultiContact connectors as output cables.

The SunPower SPR-225 solar module has a maximum power output of 225W. Its rated voltage capacity is 41.0V and the rated current capacity is 5.49V. The open circuit voltage and short circuit current of this photovoltaic module are 48.5V and 5.87A, respectively. The maximum UL listed system voltage is 600V. This module weighs up to 33 pounds.
