The 7100FP wood fireplace comprises a large firebox that has an arch shape, along with a heat zone and an auxiliary convection air system. The large double doors of the fireplace are made of cast iron. The biomass fireplace, offered by Quadra-Fire, is available with three door styles, namely, 24k gold trim, classic black finish, and satin nickel trim. The capacity of the wood fireplace with the EPA test fuel is 58,500 British thermal units per hour.. When cord wood is used, the capacity of the fireplace is 90,000 British thermal units.
The maximum efficiency of the 7100FP wood fireplace is 77 percent. The wood fireplace is EPA certified, and has an average emission of fine particles, 3.1 grams per hour. The blower system specification of the biomass fireplace is 320cfm. The maximum wood length and diameter allowed in the wood fireplace is 24 inches and 12 inches, respectively.
