Nordic R Series Geothermal Heat Pumps from One Source

One Source provides the Nordic R Series geothermal heat pump, a liquid-to-air model. The active cooling is essential for the heat pump to be used in geothermal ground loop. High fluid temperatures occur during operation in hot summer days. The geothermal heat pump offers active cooling. So, the geothermal heat pump is suitable for geothermal ground loops as well as well water pumps.

The Nordic R Series geothermal heat pump is available in different versions, namely, 5.75, 5, 4, 3, 2.5, and 2 HP models. The geothermal heat pump has the ability to provide domestic hot water both in cooling and heating modes. As optional, the liquid-to-air heat pump is provided with domestic hot water desuperheater package. For the heat pump with open geothermal ground loop, Taco slow closing water valve kit is offered, on demand. The water lines, heat exchanger and accumulator of the heat pump provided with complete insulation.

The Nordic R Series geothermal heat pump is available in three phase systems. As a standard feature, the geothermal heat pump is equipped with Turbotec coaxial water heat exchangers. However, the heat pump, offered by One Source, can be included with heat exchangers made of Cupro nickel. The filter rack of the heat pump is removable, providing easy access through a door opening measuring 28 inches.
