Yingli Green Energy has received an approval from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China to establish the State Key Laboratory of PV Technology at its manufacturing base in Baoding.
Yingli Green Energy is one of the leading manufacturers of vertically integrated photovoltaic products in the world. Yingli Green Energy has dedicated technology and management resources to help in the application and initial set up of the Laboratory. The State Key Laboratory will be established to drive the development of world-class PV technology in China.
Yingli Green Energy intends to own priority rights to commercialize technologies that are developed in the State Key Laboratory at the company’s production lines. The Laboratory was supported by Baoding Yingli Group throughout the entire application process in order to satisfy appropriate application criteria. Baoding Yingli Group is a subsidiary unit of Yingli Green Energy and the State Key Laboratory is an independent research entity.
Liansheng Miao, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Yingli Green Energy, remarked that the company is pleased to announce the establishment of the State Key Laboratory at its manufacturing base in Baoding.
