Anderson 10 Soapstone Wood Burning Stoves from Scan

Scan manufactures wood burning stoves. The Scan Anderson 10 Soapstone stove provides a heat output of up to 52,000 British thermal units per hour. The heat output of the stove depends on the amount of dry wood utilized for one hour. The wood burning stove has the capacity to heat a maximum area of 1,800 square feet. The maximum burning time of the biomass stove is eight hours.

Both the maximum burn time and heating capacity of the stove will differ according to the wood type, home, climate and operation. The Scan Anderson 10 Soapstone stove features clean burn technology and non catalytic combustion. The overall efficiency, which is 78 percent, depends on the burn rate of 0.75kg fuel in one hour. The wood burning stove can be accommodated with a maximum log length of 20 inches. The biomass stove releases emissions of 3.13 grams per hour.

The Scan Anderson 10 Soapstone stove comes in black color with a soapstone lateral covering. The top plate of the wood stove is made of cast iron. The flue size of the biomass stove is 6 inches. The wood burning stove, offered by Scan, has to be installed with a clearance of 9.5 inches at the rear, 8 inches at corner and 11 inches at sides. The overall dimensions of the stove are 676 x 928 x 405mm, and the weight is 310 pounds.
