The type of rotor used is self regulating and downwind. This rotor has a diameter of 8.4ft. This wind generator from Solar Wind Works is equipped with three blades made of polypropylene. It incorporates a brushless permanent magnet direct drive generator. This turbine is capable of generating 900 to 2,300kWh output annually.
