Shoreline Mechanical provides Viessmann solar collectors that can use solar radiation effectively to provide hot water. These collectors utilize sufficient solar energy to fulfill the hot water requirements for an average family. The Viessmann Vitosol collectors are SRCC certified. The Vitosol 300 vacuum tube solar collector is also suitable for windy and cold weather conditions. With the integrated stagnation protection feature, this collector is fitting for space heating supplement systems.
The Vitosol 300 vacuum tube solar collector functions on the principle of heat pipes. The Sol-Titanium coated copper absorber incorporated in the vacuum tube captures solar energy, which is then transferred to the double-pipe heat exchanger through the heat pipe. From here, the solar energy is sent to the solar fluid, which circulates the energy to the storage tank. The vacuum tube collector offered by Shoreline Mechanical is equipped with a Duotec double-pipe heat exchanger that encloses the heat pipe condenser tip for efficient heat transfer. It utilizes a ‘dry’ connection to transfer the energy to the solar fluid from the heat pipe.
The Vitosol 300 is made of powder-coated aluminum, hail resistant solar glass, stainless steel and copper, ensuring protection from corrosion. The condenser tip includes a temperature limiting thermal valve that guards the system fluid against overheating. This vacuum tube solar collector from Shoreline Mechanical can be installed on flat and sloped roofs.
