The U.S. Green Building Council has awarded the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver certification to Bay Colony Corporate Center for all its four buildings in the campus.
Broadway Real Estate Services, the property manager, was assisted by UGL Unicco LEED accredited professionals for the accreditation process. Bay Colony Corporate Center is one of the very few commercial campuses in the nation that has received LEED certification for Existing Building status for all the buildings in the campus. The property, which is sited on 58 acres of land, comprises one 3-story building and three 4-story buildings with a total area of 980,000 square feet.
LEED-AP certified professionals from UGL Unicco helped the Broadway Real Estate Services move through the LEED accreditation process. The professionals helped them to comply with all the requirements to achieve the certification.
Brian Barriero, Portfolio Manager, Broadway Real Estate Services, said this is a significant achievement that makes the property attractive to prospective tenants as well as to current tenants. The expertise of UGL Unicco in LEED certification process helped to achieve the certification for this campus, Barriero said.
