JMJ Natural Lighting offers the Solatube 290DS skylight that features a tube with a diameter of 14 inches and potential length of 30 feet and above. The effective daylight capturing surface of the skylight is 290 square inches with a light coverage area ranging from 250 to 300 square feet. With the daylight dimmer feature, the amount of light can be adjusted according to the desired level by just pressing a switch.
The skylight is available with two types of diffusers. The OptiView diffuser featuring advanced technology, providing clear daylight with the help of Fresnel lens. The design of the Vusion diffuser blends with most decors, while providing natural light radiance. Both the OptiView and Vusion diffusers can be built with either stainless-tone trim or frosted shade designs. The stainless-tone trim is synchronized with metal fixtures, while the frosted shade gives a contemporary look. If the light add-on kit is added to the Solatube 290DS skylight, it can be used to provide light even during the night. The two types of light add-on kits offered by JMJ Natural Lighting are the compact fluorescent kit and 110V universal kit with medium screw base.
The Solatube 290DS skylight comes with four different flashings that are universal tile, no pitch, pitched and curb mounted. The skylight is available with a range of effect lenses options that include natural effect lens, softening effect lens, warm effect lens and warm softening effect lens. The various accessories offered with the skylight include extension tubes, flashing turret extensions, dome edge protection band, roof vent cap and shock inner dome.
