Solatube International manufactures Brighten up Series daylighting systems that include the echoice Solatube 160 DSe model. The daylighting system brings natural light into the home in a cost effective method. This daylighting system offers a light coverage area ranging from 150 to 200 square feet. The effective daylight capturing surface (EDCS) of the daylighting system is 160 square inches. EDCS represents the dome surface of the daylighting system.
Echoice Solatube 160 DSe Daylighting Systems
The echoice Solatube 160 DSe features a tube that measures 10 inches in size and a length of 20 feet. The daylighting system, offered by Solatube International, is available with different choices of effect lenses, namely, warm effect lens, warm softening effect lens, natural effect lens and softening effect lens. The effect lens helps in adjusting the natural light and in warming up or softening the light color. The echoice Solatube 160 DSe daylight comes with two types of diffusers: OptiView diffuser that utilizes Fresnel lens, and Vusion diffuser that goes well with most of the decors.
The diffusers are also available in two designs, namely, stainless tone trim and frosted shade. The echoice Solatube 160 DSe daylighting system is provided with various styles of flashings that facilitate easy and quick installation. Universal tile, no pitch and pitched are the flashing styles available with the daylighting system. As optional, daylight dimmer switch is also included that can be used to control the amount of light as per the requirement.
