This solar heat collector is suitable for various applications such as residential hot water system, swimming pools, commercial water heating system and space heating. The thermal collector features selective absorber coating and Rockwool thermal insulation.
Sol 25 Solar Collectors
The frame of the thermal collector is made of anodized aluminum that is weather resistant. The Sol 25 solar collector is constructed with tempered glass in the front. This solar glass facilitates maximum light transmission. The copper absorber of the collector is coated with titanium nitrite oxide. With a thickness of three inches, the solar collector is low profiled and creates no visual impact to the look of the house.
This solar heat collector, offered by Solar Components Corporation, is provided with custom mounting hardware that allows the collector to be mounted either in horizontal or vertical orientation. The full compliment of mounting hardware and large panel size help to reduce the cost of installation. With a net absorber surface of about 27 square feet, this collector provides an output of up to 6826 BTU for each panel. The heat transfer liquid used in the Sol 25 solar collector is polypropylene glycol solution that is non toxic. The dimensions of this thermal heat collector are 87 15/16 X 48 1/8 x 3 1/16 inch.
