The Smart Bollard lighting system incorporates solar powered LED lighting encapsulated in weather resistant polymer/polycarbonate housing. With a diameter of 6 inches, it radiates a directional light on top of the ground. The 16 white LEDs of the Smart Bollard offer 360-degree visibility. It requires no wiring and is a removable model with integrated lighting. The bollard is equipped with a solar collector, LEDs, storage battery and circuitry. During the daytime charge cycle, the solar light bollard is turned off automatically.
The Smart Bollard lighting system is available in two sizes, 6-inch nominal diameter x 33-inch height and 12-inch nominal diameter x 33-inch height. The 12-inch solar bollard is embedded, while the 6-inch bollard can be removed with the embedded socket or permanently embedded. The solar powered bollard supplied by Bright Green Energy has a metal finish and rust inhibitor finish that is of thermosetting polyester powdercoat, which is chip, flake and UV resistant. It is available in a range of standard colors. The protective sleeves are designed in silver or black. The Annapolis bollard has 80% recycled material content, 51% of post consumer content and 28% of pre-consumer content. The solar powered bollard is 97% recyclable.
