ARTisun 156-17.8 Solar Cells from Suniva

Suniva offers different types of monocrystalline photovoltaic cells including the ARTisun 156-17.8 solar cell. The mono wafers used in 2 bus bar solar cells provides a consistent appearance to the modules. The photovoltaic cell has the ability to perform efficiently, even if the sunlight is low. It is suitable for use in applications in varied geographical regions and under different climatic conditions.

Quality ARTisun 156-17.8 PV cells are manufactured following rigid monitoring and microcrack detection methods during the process. The cells have monocrystalline crystals, which are grown by czochralski technique. The mono wafer used in the ARTisun 156-17.8 solar cell is pseudo-square in shape, 156mm in size and approximately 200 microns in thickness.

The color of the ARTisun 156-17.8 monocrystalline cell is dark blue, which features a silicon nitride AR coating. This solar cell, offered by Suniva, has an aluminum back surface field, and a screen print configuration on its front as well as its back. Each photovoltaic cell measures 156mm in length and 156mm in width. The efficiency rate of this 2 bus bar cell ranges between 17.7 and 17.9 percent. The ARTisun 156-17.8 solar cell provides power of 4.23 – 4.27 watts. The short circuit current of this PV cell is 8.61 amperes and open circuit voltage is 0.629 volts.
