NU-U240F1 Multi-Purpose 240 watt Module from Sharp

Sharp offers the NU-U240F1 multi-purpose 240 watt solar module for use in grid-connected roof systems and ground mounted lay outs.

This module contains sophisticated cell surface graining process to increase light absorption and to improve the conversion efficiency. The 156 mm pseudo-square monocrystalline type of solar cells used in the module supplies increased power output and can be efficiently used over roof stops with space restrictions. The NU-U240F1 module is equipped with a toughened glass, EVA lamination and weather proofed back cover for long-lasting usage.

The NU-U240F1 multi-purpose 240 watt solar module provided by the Sharp has an overall dimension of 994 mm x 1640 mm x 46 mm and uses a cable with 1100 mm length. This module weighs 20 kg and can withstand a maximum load of 50 psf. The operating temperature of the cell is measured as -40 to 90°C.  This module uses a total of 60 cells in series. The electrical features of this module include Pmax 240 W, Voc 37.4 V, Vpm 30.1 V, Isc 8.65 A, Ipm 7.98 A, module efficiency 14.7%, maximum rated system DC voltage 600 V and the series fuse rating 15 A.

The Sharp NU-U240F1 Multi-purpose 240 watt solar energy module has a Class C fire rating.
