Newsweek Ranks Citi as Greenest U.S. Bank

Citigroup today announced that it has been ranked the greenest bank in the United States by Newsweek magazine. The annual Newsweek Green Rankings® comprehensively assess the environmental performance of the largest publicly traded companies in the U.S. and around the world. Citi was ranked the 17th greenest company in the United States, the highest ranking of any U.S.-based bank for the second year in a row.

SPG Solar Completes Solar Tracking System at Williams Wastewater Treatment Plant

SPG Solar, a leading provider of commercial solar power products and services, today announced the completion of a cutting-edge solar tracking system at the Williams Wastewater Treatment Plant in Williams, Calif. The first of 10MW of All Weather SunSeeker Tracker projects slated for completion in the second half of 2012, this installation is expected to provide the City of Williams an energy cost savings of approximately $1.4 million over the next 20 years.
