Canadian Solar Modules Selected for Turkey's 96 kW Governmental PV Project

Canadian Solar, a global provider of environmentally-friendly solar products and solar system solutions, has announced that it has been selected to provide solar modules for Turkey's governmental solar PV project. The 96 kW PV project is Turkey's first and largest governmental project.

Michael Fish trained with qualified urban BASE jumpers in order to successfully complete the freefall jump. A parachute was used to land.

Phase-Out of Fossil Fuel Subsidies Will Reduce Demand on Oil, Natural Gas and Coal

The Worldwatch Institute has reported that the subsidies for fossil fuel and renewable energy are increasing. The value of fossil fuel subsidies in 2012 is estimated to be between $775 billion and $1 trillion, while the value of renewable energy subsidies were $66 billion in 2010. The total subsidies for renewable energy are higher per kWh though they are lower in terms of value.
