Resort and Convention Center Awarded Green Lodging Certification

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) awarded the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort + Convention Center "Green Lodging" certification, making it one of only 159 properties to be designated in the state. Florida's Green Lodging Program establishes guidelines for hotels and other tourist destinations seeking green status, which encompasses water and energy conservation to name a few.
