WeGo Solar offers the Skystream 3.7 wind turbine. This wind turbine model meant for home use is an off-grid model and is directly connected to power the home. This model incorporates three blades made of fiberglass reinforced composite material.
The advanced vibration technology blended with finely crafted blade design assures quite and efficient production of power. The wireless monitoring feature included in the model allows remote monitoring of wind turbine operations.
The Skystream 3.7 wind turbine provided by WeGo Solar has a rated power producing capacity of 2.4 kW and this turbine weighs 93 kg. This wind turbine with a rotor diameter of 3.72 m sweeps an area of 10.87 m². This model incorporates a downwind rotor with stall regulation control. This rotor has a clockwise upwind rotation. The rated speed of the blade is 50–325 rpm and the tip speed is 66 m/s. The Skystream 3.7 utilizes passive yaw control and a slotless permanent magnet and a brushless alternator.
The cut-in wind speed of the Skystream 3.7 wind turbine marketed by WeGo Solar is 3.5 m/s, its rated wind speed is 13 m/s and this wind turbine is designed to withstand a top wind speed of 63 m/s. To stop the wind turbine an electronic stall regulation with redundant relay switch control braking system is used.
