Wenvor Technologies offers WTI-30 wind turbine. This up wind 30 kW wind turbine incorporates three blades made of carbon composite material with aluminum tips and measures 10 m in diameter. Internal copper cable is provided to save the blades from lightning.
The WTI-30 wind turbine deploys standard type of towers measuring 24 and 30 m with required guy wires, shackles and turnbuckles. The components utilized in the making of the tower and tail vane are hot dipped and galvanized for protection against corrosion. The ductile cast iron and steel castings utilized in the tower are primed and shielded by corrosion-resistant paint. The tilt-up type of towers allows easy maintenance.
The WTI-30 wind turbine utilizes single- or three-phase generators. For single-phase generators a step down transformer of 37.5 KVA, 600 to 240 V capacities is provided. This generator requires an induction voltage of 600 V 60 Hz and the minimum rpm of this generator is 1800. This generator incorporates an automatic re-set option to protect from overheat conditions. The WTI-30 wind turbine has a two-stage pitch regulation. During top level kW and RPM output conditions the over speed control protects the blades from damages.
The WTI-30 wind turbine incorporates a heavy duty gear box meeting the service factor three and utilizes synthetic oil to cool down the system while running. This wind turbine model deploys CSA approved components and meets ESA inspection requirements.
