Kedco offers the Kedco Rose pellet stove. This pellet stove is made of cast iron and uses lid at back side of the top to load the hopper with pellets. The hopper incorporated in the stove holds up to 20 kg of pellet fuel.
The pellet stove model incorporates an automatic ignition as well as a manual ignition. The manual ignition comes handy when the temperature goes below 3°C and prevents the heating elements to glow when ignited using automatic ignition. The automatic temperature setting allows the stove to set the temperature and consume only the required level of pellet fuel.
The estimated efficiency of this pellet stove is >80%. The minimum and maximum available power for the unit is 2.5–7.6 kW. With a capacity load of pellets this stove burns between 12 and 33 h. consuming 0.6–1.7 kg/h of fuel. The smoke duct of this stove measures 80 mm in diameter and its air intake duct measures 40 mm in diameter. For efficient functioning the Kedco Rose pellet stove offered by Kedco is connected to a 230 Vac 50 Hz power supply with ±10% variation. During the process of ignition this stove consumes a maximum power of 400 W and consumes an average power of 150 W during the burning process.
For protection against the power surges and for electronic circuit board protection this pellet stove incorporates a 5 x 20 2 A 250 VAC fuse. This stove comes with an optional infrared remote control.
