China Innovation has announced that its flagship solar battery company Topsun Creation China has established a joint venture agreement with lithium battery experts Tang Hao and Sun Runguang worth RMB50 million.
The participation from Topsun Creation in this joint venture would be 77.5% (RMB46 million) while that from Tang and Sun together would be 22.5% (RMB4 million), with the aim of expanding the lithium battery field. The name of the JV is expected to be Topsun Energy Limited with an operation period of 30 years.
Sun is a Tokyo University graduate while Tang is a Shanghai University graduate. Topsun Creation China, located in Shenzhen, is enabled with an advanced team for research and development along with advanced technologies for solar energy storage. The company specializes in lead acid batteries, energy-saving batteries and lithium batteries.
This joint venture will help in strengthening Topsun Creation’s “new energy” business, the development trend in China as well as the rest of the world. China Innovation is an investment expert for fields like energy-saving industry, dual-use technology and the three new energy industries such as “New Materials”, “New Light Resources” and “New Energy Resources”.
