BIOREM Inc, a leading company in the clean technology industry that specializes in designing and supplying biological-based high-efficiency air emissions control systems, has received an important new order from China’s Sinopec at a value of CAD$520,000.
Under the contract, the proprietary technology of BIOREM will be used for removing Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Ammonia and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) in southern China at one of Sinopec’s refineries. BIOREM has estimated a value of $1.6 billion for the worldwide industrial VOC market, with China occupying a significant position.
Sinopec, also known as the China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, is the largest supplier and producer of oil as well as petrochemical products in China. The company specializes in the production and sale of chemicals, oil refining as well as distribution, along with the production of natural gas and oil.
