Johnson + Johnson to Install Largest Solar Facility in New Jersey

Johnson & Johnson will be installing the largest solar facility in Titusville, New Jersey. This solar installation will be going online in a week’s time.

This solar facility has its location on the Janssen business campus that happens to be a part of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals that again forms a part of Johnson & Johnson companies.

The Johnson & Johnson group has an overall strength of 20 solar installations that are already installed or have been planned in sites across the globe, with a 13-MW total power generation capacity. The Titusville solar array consists of almost 13,500 solar PV panels, thus providing approximately 70% of the annual electricity consumption of the site, an equivalent of powering 600 average homes in New Jersey.

The Titusville solar installation represents the larger shared commitment of Johnson & Johnson companies towards renewable energy.
