The name of Ecolab has been included in the 2011 Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Performance Leadership Index recognizing its efforts to palliate climate change. The company one among the 11 quoted in the index received ‘Band A’ evaluation for possessing a fully incorporated climate change policy that applies notable maturity in its climate change attempts.
The company is also included in the CDP Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) for the second year consecutively. The CDLI brings into spotlight those companies that have proved commitment to stakeholder communications and transparency, governance and strategy in their reporting exercises. Ecolab has scored 91 out of the possible 100 and achieved top rating.
The 2011 CDP S&P 500 Report comprises the outcomes of the CDP analysis on the basis of the responses received by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
