PTG’s President, Jamie Campolongo stated that Veolia Transportation, PTG’s parent company, has included the propane-powered cabs to its green initiative.

Jamie stated that this propane conversion will significantly save the driver’s expenses besides pollution reduction and added that taking gasoline’s current price into account, the company talks about saving approximately $1.40 per gallon.

He also commented that the company has done propane conversions for at least 50 cabs, based on the statistics and added that the company can possibly minimize the carbon footprint by around 500 t in a year.

In addition, Jamie will remind about the NHL draft event to his drivers and this event will be conducted at the Consol Energy Center. He will also speak about the opportunities for promoting the city. PTG operates City Cab, ExecuCar or Embassy Coach, Freedom Transportation, People's Cab, PTG Charter Services and Super Shuttle, besides Yellow Cab. Veolia operates several transportation modes in North America and wholly owns its subsidiary, PTG.
