Acclaimed Movers & Storage based in Simi Valley, California have done their bit towards environmental preservation by deploying a green fleet of trucks powered by biodiesel.
Given the number of miles, the company’s trucks have to travel for pick-ups and drops and trips to and from the warehouse, the expenditure on fuel is substantial and the pollutants released into the air by way of vehicle emissions is also high. The new fleet of biodiesel trucks are said to reduce air pollution by almost 80%.
Biodiesel is superior in performance to gasoline. It is fuel efficient and hence enables the user to cut down fuel expenses. Biodiesel results in lesser carbon dioxide emission than gasoline. Carbon dioxide is the main source of climate change. Another aspect of biodiesel is that it is produced from plants which soak up carbon dioxide prior to their conversion into fuel. The plants in combination with the reduced emissions from biodiesel fuelled vehicles result in smaller increment of the gas in the atmosphere vis-à-vis produced by gasoline. Biodiesel also produces lesser hydrocarbon and sulfur emissions, thereby leading to a cleaner environment. Flammability of biodiesel is lesser than conventional gasoline. So it is deemed as a safer source of fuel.
The Simi Valley Movers continue to advance in the industry in a positive way and take necessary steps to ensure that they operate in a clean and sustainable manner.
