Ecotech, AerosolConsultingML Ink New European Business Partnership

Ecotech, a provider of environmental monitoring equipment and services for more than three decades, and AerosolConsultingML, a European research consultant specializing in aerosol physics and engineering, have entered into a business partnership.

Through this collaboration, Ecotech will expand its business in the European market and foster its environmental monitoring software and equipment to new research markets. The following research products from the company will be promoted through this collaboration.

The Spectronus is a greenhouse gas analyzer that can perform a comprehensive study of the infrared spectrum and can continuously measure all major greenhouse gases. Ecotech and the University of Wollongong developed the greenhouse gas analyzer.

The Aurora nephelometer series, which makes measurements of angular and back scattering from aerosols, enables scientists to detect the impact on the global energy balance.

Airodis is a new environmental reporting software for retrieving, assessing and auditing data gathered from different environmental monitoring systems. This innovative software was developed by Ecotech, leveraging on its more than three decades of experience in running one of the largest networks of ISO 17025 accredited monitoring systems in the world.

Ecotech’s Business Development Manager, Felicity Sharp stated that this collaboration is a testament to the partnership between the research and manufacturing sectors in the development of Australian innovations in the international arena.

AerosolConsultingML’s Director, Marie Laborde commented that he anticipates collaborating with Ecotech in exploring new business opportunities for its instruments that will enable researchers to observe greenhouse gases and aerosols in the atmosphere at an unprecedented level of accuracy.
