Enphase Microinverters to Become Sunnova’s Exclusive Inverter in the U.S. Virgin Islands

Sunnova and Enphase Energy, Inc. today announced their continued expansion by launching into the U.S. Virgin Islands. Enphase®Microinverters will be Sunnova’s exclusive inverter in this region.

Within 18 months of collaboration, the companies have more than 2,000 PV systems already installed and operating. Sunnova recently announced $145 million in financing to fund this rapid growth and has provided solar service in more states and U.S. territories than any other provider in the nation.

“Sunnova is one of the fastest-growing solar financing companies we work with in the United States,” said Jeff Loebbaka, senior vice president of sales, marketing and support for Enphase Energy. “Leading Enphase installer partners in 15 states have leveraged Sunnova’s financing service to bring a highly-competitive offering to homeowners who seek convenience, efficiency and peace-of-mind with their solar systems.”

Enphase Microinverters offer increased energy harvest by converting DC to AC at the individual module level. This architecture creates a robust and reliable solar array by eliminating a single point of failure. Sunnova recognizes the Enphase performance advantage and incorporates increased energy production into its quote tool to show customers the cost/performance benefits. Sunnova’s solar as a service offers homeowners the benefits of solar at a fixed-rate without the hassle of operation and maintenance. Sunnova’s installation partners value the reporting precision and quality products Enphase brings to these services.

“Sunnova is proud to work with Enphase and to be the first to bring affordable energy to homeowners in the Virgin Islands,” said Jordan Frugé, senior vice president of sales for Sunnova. “Our team has worked with Enphase for several years, allowing us to both best serve homeowners, who may not have previously considered going solar, and simplify the operations of our installation partners.”
