SatCon Received Purchase Order for Roof Mount PV Installation in Spain

SatCon Technology Corporation®, a developer of power management and system architecture solutions for the alternative energy and distributed power markets today announced that it has received a purchase order for a 10MW electrical package from a Confidential Project Developer for a roof mount PV installation in Spain. The order is for twenty five hundred kilowatt (20 x 500kW) PowerGate® inverters, photovoltaic array combiner boxes, PV ViewTM Plus inverter monitoring, and systems engineering. The PowerGate inverters to be supplied were certified to CE standards with the assistance of TUV, a leading European certification body, on March 31st. Internacional Master Technology SL, SatCon's partner in Spain, has been instrumental in supporting the company's efforts on this project, and will continue to do so in a project management role. Fulfillment of the order is scheduled over the next 3 months.
