Geothermal System Installation
Earth River Geothermal first analyses the cost saving benefits for choosing the geothermal system. The company designs and decides the size of the geo-loop ground heat exchanger. Then the location for the ground heat exchanger is selected to get the maximum cost effective solution. The company discusses with the homeowner to decide whether the ductwork needs to be changed, and zoning controls are required.
After this, the company sets up the piping, circulation pumps, and manifolding, and ensures to get optimum thermal conductivity between the ground and the geo-loop. The size of the geothermal system is fixed to get the maximum configuration for cooling, heating, and humidity control. The company later prepares a documentation package featuring the loop configuration and specifications of the system. After the installation, the company inspects the system to check whether it is up to the design, and also heat transfer specifications such as BTU output, and EER or COP.
