Xantrex Showcases Three Phase Product Line

Xantrex Technology Inc., the North American market leader for solar inverters, will showcase its three phase product line at the Power-Gen Renewable Energy and Fuels Conference and Exhibition from February 19-21, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Xantrex three phase product line includes the new Xantrex GT100 and GT250 Grid Tie Solar Inverters, with output power levels of 100 and 250 kilowatts respectively. Xantrex inverters efficiently convert raw direct current (DC) energy from solar arrays into high quality alternating current (AC) electricity. The GT100 and GT250 offer the highest California Energy Commission (CEC) efficiency in their class, integrated design that is simple to install, and scalability to meet multi-megawatt commercial and utility requirements. The GT100 and GT250 have been well-received by the solar market, with over 50 megawatts of orders to date.

Xantrex will also offer a preview of the innovative three phase GT30, currently in development. This highly efficient inverter solution is estimated at 96% CEC efficiency and weighs less than 200 pounds allowing it to be wall-mounted; a first for an inverter of this power level.

“We are excited to present the Xantrex three phase product line at the Power-Gen Renewable and Fuels Conference and Exhibition 2008,” said John Wallace, Xantrex CEO. “The commercial solar market is growing fast, and our three phase product line is a top-quality, cost-effective option for dealers, distributors, engineering companies and project integrators.”
