The Sunny Boy 3000US grid-tied inverter is integrated with a load-break rated DC disconnect switch and fused series string combiner. It has OptiCool and electronics enclosure, which is completely sealed. This solar inverter is made of outdoor rated rugged cast aluminum enclosure. Data collection and SMA communications are available as options. The Sunny Boy 3000US inverter is field configurable and suitable for positive ground systems. It includes a LCD display with different colors of lids.

The Sunny Boy 3000US grid-tied inverter has a maximum input of 3750W. It has a maximum DC voltage of 500V and maximum DC input current of 17A. The maximum output power of this solar inverter is 3,000W. This inverter has a peak efficiency of 96.5% and has CEC weighted efficiency up to 96%. It measures a width of 17.8 inches, height of 13.8 inches and a depth of 9.3 inches, and weighs up to 84 pounds.
