This water-to-air unit is available in ¾, 1 and 1½-ton sizes, and is designed to fulfill heating and air conditioning requirements of apartments, offices, hotels and motels, condominiums, hospitals and schools. It utilizes PSC blower motors and R-22 refrigerant for efficient performance.

Versatec Compact Horizontal Unit

The Versatec Compact horizontal unit operates in liquid temperatures from 25 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Its refrigeration system contains a reversing valve, high stability thermostatic expansion valve, water-to-refrigerant coaxial heat exchanger, airside coils, hermetic compressor, and safety controls. With the use of coaxial heat exchanger, safety controls and reversing valve, the compressor can be accessed. The coaxial heat exchanger provides maximum heat transfer at low and normal water flow rates. This water-to-air unit is equipped with a three speed PSC fan motor with a thermal overload protection.

The cabinet of the Versatec Compact horizontal unit is constructed with galvanized steel. Its internal components are easily serviced through removable access panels. Electric components are positioned in the compression section. The wiring connections are made within the cabinet to provide maximum safety. The VLC12 water source heat pump has an airflow rate of 375cfm and a flow rate of 3.5gpm. It has a heating capacity of 16,300 BTUH and a cooling capacity of 11,000 BTU. This model has 9.3 EER and 3.4 COP.
