The Hummer 500W Wind Turbine
The Hummer 500W wind turbine can be mounted on a guyed-wire tower with a height of 18m and a wireless tower with a height of 18m. The wind turbine has a rated output power of 500W, and a maximum output of 1,000W. The turbine has a charge voltage of 24V DC and an output voltage ranging from 110V to 240V. The rotor has three blades, which are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. The blade has a diameter of 2.7m. The start-up wind speed of the rotor is 2.5m/s and the rated wind speed is 7m/s. The generator weighs 6.5kg.
The Hummer 500W wind turbine has a direct drive technology. The wind turbine is light in weight and requires low maintenance. The auto control protection in the wind turbine protects it from over discharging, over charging, overheating, and short circuit. The wind turbine consists of a slip ring yaw shaft and does not require cable twisting.
