EarthSource Energy Solutions manufactures a range of direct exchange geothermal heat pumps for heating and cooling homes or businesses. These heat pumps also supply domestic hot water and control humidity. The Geo Direct heat pumps are designed to minimize greenhouse gas emissions. They are available in different capacities ranging from 24,000 BTU/h to 60,000 BTU/h. The DXG 300A direct exchange geothermal heat pump incorporates the direct exchange technology, which is referred as DX geothermal.
The DX geothermal technology is suitable for heating and cooling applications. The refrigerant, included in the DX geothermal, is circulated through the conductive copper earth loops covered in the earth. It allows the thermal energy to transfer directly from the earth to the homes. The DXG 300A direct exchange geothermal heat pump has a heating capacity of 30,000 BTU/h and a cooling capacity of 33,000 BTU/h. It has 16.6EER for cooling. This geothermal heat pump available from EarthSource Energy Solutions measures a height of 28.5 inches, width of 23.5 inches and a depth of 22.5 inches. It is available in forest green color.
The DXG 300A direct exchange geothermal heat pump is supplied with in-ground installation kits for horizontal pit, horizontal trench, vertical and diagonal versions. This installation kit includes distributors, copper loops and other necessary components. There is a desuperheater to provide hot water for domestic use. The plasma air quality system is utilized to clean the indoor air effectively.
