WP036-072 Water-to-Water Geothermal Heat Pumps from FHP Manufacturing

FHP Manufacturing offers a range of water source and geothermal heat pumps for residential and commercial applications. The WP036-072 water-to-water heat pump available from the company is a reverse cycle chiller and a low temperature boiler. It can be stretch wrapped or pallet mounted. It operates at an entering fluid temperature from -7 degrees Celsius to 49 degrees Celsius. This heat pump uses the R-22 refrigerant for efficient performance.

The cabinet in the WP036-072 water-to-water heat pump is constructed with heavy-gauge galvanized steel and supported by an iron frame. Its interior is insulated with multi density glass fiber coating, which has a thickness of 12.7mm. The electrical components and compressors can be replaced through the front service access. This water-to-water heat pump incorporates a sealed refrigerant circuit. This refrigerant circuit comprises a bidirectional thermal expansion valve metering device, hermetic scroll compressor, refrigerant reversing valve, coaxial style fluid-to-refrigerant heat exchangers and service ports. The compressor is designed with refrigerant R-22 to provide heat pump duty. The fluid-to-refrigerant heat exchangers are insulated to avoid compression at low fluid temperatures.

The safety devices and controls included in the WP036-072 water-to-water heat pump are factory wired and mounted inside the unit. The electrical controls include a 24V transformer, solid lock-out control circuit, compressor contactors and reversing valve coils. The WP072 reverse cycle chiller measures a height of 24.25 inches, width of 32.50 inches and a depth of 24 inches.
