Oxford Solar Offers Sunny 28 Flat Plate Solar Collectors

Oxford Solar provides the Sunny 28 flat plate solar collector from SolarFocus. The solar thermal collector is made from a material that is resistant to both rust and corrosion. Materials like wood, plastic, or rubber seals are not used in the manufacture of solar collector. The surface absorber of the flat plate collector is fully featured with selective blue line. The solar collector includes a glass cover made of 4mm solar safety glass that offers 92 percent solar transmission.

The Sunny 28 flat plate solar collector can be installed in different styles such as roof mounted, façade mounted, roof integrated, and free standing. The applications of the solar thermal collector include hot water, swimming pool heating, and auxiliary heating. The aluminum tray of the flat plate collector protects the inner side of the collector. The rear wall has a 50mm insulation to provide high operating efficiency.

The Sunny 28 flat plate solar collector has a capacity of 1.3 liters, with a rate of flow ranging from 20 to 70 liters per square meter hour. The operating pressure of the solar thermal collector is up to 10 bar. The solar collector, offered by Oxford Solar, has an aperture surface measuring 2.5 square meters. The flat plate solar collector measures 2.4 x 1.155 meters, with a thickness of 85mm. The weight of the solar thermal collector is 50kg.
