The Universal Track Rack manufactured by Zomeworks is a passive solar tracker designed for photovoltaic modules. It features an early morning rapid return system and is designed to suit the specifications of a solar module.
Universal Track Rack Passive Solar Tracker
The Universal Track Rack can be adjusted in north-south and east-west directions. It is available in five sizes to hold 2 to 32 modules. This tracker system provided by Solar Wind Works is constructed for the wind loads of 90mph. The sun tracking array mount is made of zinc plated and stainless steel hardware. The liquid is moved from side to side with the increasing heat of sun and this allows gravity to turn the tracker to follow the sun. This solar tracking system requires no gears, no motors and control for its operation.
The Universal Track Rack is available in UTR and UTR-F models to fit common photovoltaic modules. It is available in the following sizes: UTR 020 having a module space of 20sq.ft, UTR 040 having 40sq.ft, UTR F 64 having 64sq.ft, UTR F 90 having 90sq.ft and UTR F 120 having 120sq.ft.
