Barbas Offers Eco 500 Free-Standing Wood Fires

Barbas manufactures different models of wood fires and gas fires. The wood fires are available in three categories, namely, free-standing wood fires, built-in wood fires and insert wood fires. The Eco 500 free-standing wood fire offered by the company is available in a rustic design. The flue outlet connection is fitted on the top and rear to ensure efficient heating in any situation.

The exterior of the Eco 500 free-standing wood fire is made of soapstone panels and the interior is made of cast iron panels. The soapstone panel set includes a top and bottom right hand panel, a top plate left hand panel along with a through-feed hole, and a top and bottom floor plate. This wood fire available from Barbas has a maximum heat output from 5kW to 9kW, and has a weight of 289kg. Its gas flue outlet has a diameter of 150mm and the air supply has a diameter of 100mm.

The smoke connection set box included in the free-standing wood fire contains a sealing plate, connecting washer, protective plate, two screws for securing the protective plate, and four attachment bolts including washers and nuts. The chimney attached with the wood fire must be free-standing. The connections between the Eco 500 free-standing wood fire and the chimney must be insulated properly. Thick-walled smoke piping has to be used between the wood fireplace and chimney.
