Bodart & Gonay manufactures a range of wood burning fires including the Optifire 763 model. The biomass fireplace is designed with two feet that are height adjustable to make the fireplace suitable for different situations. The wood fireplace is equipped with a wide door that comes in either rounded or flat shape. The fan of the fireplace works silently. The ventilation system of the fire includes four distribution vents for effective heat distribution.

The Optifire 763 wood burning fire burns normal wooden logs as well as logs made from compressed wood shavings. For the installation of the Optifire 763 wood burning fireplace, the ceiling should be insulated with a minimum thickness of 107mm, the side wall with 118mm and the back wall with 174mm. However, the floor does not require any insulation. The fireplace, offered by Bodart & Gonay, is equipped with a thermostat that controls the use of primary air for combustion.
The other features of the wood fireplace include refractory bricks, stainless steel baffles, cast iron grills, removable door handle, variator, distributors, de-ashing arm, and microswitch. The Optifire 763 wood burning fire provides a heat output of 16.5 kilowatts. The energy efficiency of the biomass fireplace is 73.7 percent. The flue gas temperature of the wood burning fire is 345 degrees Celsius. The dimensions of the fireplace are 762 x 475 x 731mm, with a weight of 144kg.
