Major Geothermal supplies the Tranquility 20 single stage geothermal heat pump manufactured by ClimateMaster. The water source heat pump is equipped with EarthPure HFC-410A refrigerant and Copeland Scroll compressor. The heat pump is included either with a PSC multi speed or an ECM variable speed fan motor. The geothermal heat pump is eligible for additional Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) points, as it features green technology design.

The ClimateMaster Tranquility 20 single stage geothermal heat pump is available in various sizes from 1 1/2 to 6 tons. All the units of the heat pump are made of galvanized steel and painted with powder coating. As a standard feature, the geothermal heat pump comprises a discharge muffler to provide high quality sound attenuation. The horizontal version heat pump is featured with discharge air arrangement that is field convertible. The heat pump, provided by Major Geothermal, offers either standard or extended range of operation.

The ClimateMaster Tranquility 20 single stage geothermal heat pump is provided with various options including the ClimaDry reheat. With compressor springs that are computer selected, and double isolation compressor mounting, the heat pump provides silent operation. The geothermal heat pump also features microprocessor controls as standard. However, DXM and DDC controls can be configured as optional. Other standard features of the heat pump include port expansion valve refrigerant metering device that is balanced and bi-directional.
