ETA Engineering offers a range of wind power products including tower kits and wind turbines. Wind turbine tower kits are provided in the following models: EZ Tower, AIR Tower and Whisper Tower kits. These tower kits are designed by Southwest Windpower. The Whisper tower kits are designed for easy and safe installation of towers. They are available in a number of designs based on their heights.
The Whisper wind turbine towers require no welding but the largest towers need concrete. They are available in different heights such as 24ft, 30ft, 50ft, 65ft and 80ft. All the installations of Southwest Windpower wind towers provided by ETA Engineering can be done efficiently on the ground. The Whisper tower kits include anchors, pope materials and power wires.
While choosing the materials for constructing a tower, customers need to consider the following aspects. A “schedule 40” pipe material suits different conditions and this provides a wall thickness of 0.125 inches. The wall with this thickness can withstand most wind conditions. While utilizing fence pipe material, customers can choose the “SS40”. The “schedule 20”, a thinner wall material can be in areas where the speed of winds never goes beyond 80mph. The anchors are a difficult part for installing a tower. When the anchors are on the ground, installing a tower becomes easy. Various soil materials are also used for installing a tower. Power wires are required in variable lengths to connect turbines and batteries/inverters.
