Schneider Heating & Air Conditioning provides the GeoComfort GS018 single stage geothermal system. The geothermal heat pump is available in both vertical and horizontal configurations. On demand, the heat pump can also be provided with air handler or split compressor unit. The drain pans of the geothermal system are made of stainless steel and are corrosion proof. The geothermal heat pump is equipped with PSC blower motor, as a standard feature. However, ECM motors are also available as an option.
GeoComfort GS018 Single Stage Geothermal System
The GeoComfort GS018 single stage geothermal system comprises a condensate overflow sensor. The air coils of the heat pump are coated to provide longer durability. The compressor of the geothermal system is Copeland single stage scroll type. As optional, auxiliary electric heaters and hot water generator are provided with the heat pump. The geothermal heat pump comprises an oversized coaxial heat exchanger made of copper. On demand, Cupro-nickel heat exchanger is also available for the heat pump.
The GeoComfort GS018 single stage geothermal system features digital controls for operating the system. The heat pump cabinet is bolted, featuring a white powder coating. The panels of the heat pump are all removable to provide easy access to the system. Other features of the geothermal system, offered by Schneider Heating & Air Conditioning, include recycled blue jean insulation, flow switch protection, external service LED, and insulated refrigerant circuit.
