Simmons Heating & Air Conditioning provides Magnum Hydronic MG-1-X-037-W geothermal heat pumps, manufactured by HydroHeat. The liquid-to-liquid heat pump features a combination of boiler and chiller. The geothermal heat pump also includes an optional domestic water heating. The heat pump uses water as the heating and cooling medium. For space heating, the heating system has the ability to generate a maximum of 130 degrees Fahrenheit water. During summer, the heat pump acts as a chiller, providing 3 to 5 tons of chilled water at 36 degrees Fahrenheit temperature.

The Magnum Hydronic MG-1-X-037-W geothermal heat pump is small and compact in size. The geothermal heat pump can be used for heat recovery, in-slab heating, fined-tube baseboard heating, domestic hot water, and split system. It can be applied for split system with the help of fan coils. The geothermal heat pump is compatible with HydroAir horizontal fan coil. The liquid-to-liquid heat pump is suitable for residential as well as commercial uses.

The Magnum Hydronic MG-1-X-037-W geothermal heat pump can be retrofitted to an existing gas fired or oil fired boiler. The heat pump system, offered by Simmons Heating & Air Conditioning, distributes cooling through chilled water air handler, during summer. Hence, a whole house duct system is not necessary. Multiple units of Magnum Hydronic MG-1-X-037-W heat pumps can be combined to offer multi-stage cooling and heating systems.
