A sales agreement was entered into by Trina Solar with AE Photonics of Germany for the delivery of 40 MW of PV modules. Trina Solar is an integrated solar PV modules manufacturer ranging from ingots production to PV modules assembling. AE Photonics GmbH & Co. KG is an established supplier of photovoltaic components and photovoltaic systems in Europe and Germany.
As per the agreement, during the first half of 2010, PV modules totaling 20 MW have to be supplied with prices agreed for the first quarter. The entire order has to be delivered during 2010. In January 2010, the initial shipments have commenced.
Trina Solar's Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Europe, Ben Hill, said that the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and superior value is shared by AE Photonics and is happy to have entered into a sales agreement with it. Ben Hill further said the agreement underscores the demand for its superior solar products in all important solar markets throughout the world.
