The Xantrex C40 charge controller can be utilized as a diversion, charge or load controller. It is equipped with a multi-color charge status LED. This controller incorporates a modulated microprocessor control used for increasing battery life. This microprocessor-driven controller is cUL and UL listed. It ensures that the batteries are kept charged always. This charge controller offered by MacroEnergy has battery set points and field adjustable voltage features. It is electronically protected against overload, over temperature, short-circuit and reverse polarity conditions.
The C40 charge controller has a charging or load current of 40A DC. Its maximum peak current is 85A. The recommended breaker size of this controller is 50A. There are adjustable lead acid battery settings and NiCad battery settings. This charge controller offered by MacroEnergy is enclosed with a 3/4 inch powder coated steel and 1 inch knockouts.
