Trina Solar Limited, a leading solar products manufacturer, announced that it has set up an EU regional headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. In January 2010, the facility started functioning.
The main objective of Trina Solar to establish an EU regional headquarters is to strengthen its presence and to increase its customer base further in the continent. The regional headquarters, located in the international business district of Zurich, will provide the company increased proximity to important solar markets as well as enable it provide enhanced service to its customers and partners.
Chairman and CEO of Trina Solar, Mr. Jifan Gao, said the company is delighted to set up its EU regional headquarters. One of the company’s goals to expand its operations throughout the world, increase its relationship with customers and extend brand recognition across important markets in the EU has been realized through this establishment of the regional headquarters. The company was confident that its European growth strategy will be successful, Gao said.
