Sierra Solar Systems provides different models of solar hot water systems. The Sunex solar hot water system is a closed loop system that has the capacity to provide hot water for a maximum number of five people during summer. This solar hot water system can also be used as a preheater for conventional water heaters during other seasons. The Sunex solar hot water system comprises three units that include a storage tank, solar collector and heat transfer fluid control/pump. The heat transfer fluid is circulated by the pump through the pipes in the solar hot water system.
