The World Band solar radio has a four way mechanism for charging along with a rechargeable circuit that has an auto switching option. The World Band solar radio consists of components manufactured by Toshiba. With four AA NiCad rechargeable batteries, the solar radio can be used continuously for a maximum period of seven hours. The LED indicator on the World Band solar radio provides an indication, when the battery level is low.
The World Band solar radio is available with different accessories such as AC/DC plug, 12 volt car charging cable, earplug set, stereo dual mini speakers, four NiCad rechargeable batteries and a guidance booklet on emergency weather preparation. The 12 volt charging cable is only supplied, if required.
