SunPumps PCA 30-M1 Pump Controllers from Aurora Power + Design

Aurora Power & Design offers the SunPumps PCA 30-M1 pump controller that is a 250-watt DC model. The PCA 30-M1 is used as an interface between the power source and DC pump. It is controlled by a microprocessor and can be used with different direct current sources such as batteries, solar modules and wind generator systems.

SunPumps PCA 30-M1 Pump Controllers

The SunPumps PCA 30-M1 pump controller basically helps to enhance solar module performance in low sunlight conditions. The pump controller, provided by Aurora Power & Design, also holds the solar module voltage when it reaches a maximum power point. Due to this, the pump starts early in the morning and operates for a longer time in the evening. The more the pump runs, the more water is pumped. The different components of the SunPumps PCA 30-M1 pump controller include a remote switch circuit, pump speed control circuit, electronic circuit breaker, low water cut-off circuit without a sensor, and indicator lights.

The SunPumps PCA 30-M1 pump controller is compatible with two solar modules with 36 cells each, one solar module with 54 solar cells, or one solar module with 72 solar cells, all connected in series. The maximum open circuit voltage of the pump controller is 45 volts, with a maximum load power of 250 watts and maximum load current of 8 amperes. The nominal operating voltages of the pump controller are 15, 24 and 30 volts.
